Utilizing SIP, the open industry standard for VoIP, instant communications and Presence, CXO and Microsoft solutions “expose” a users’ status on the network. In more practical terms, employees are able to stay connected at all times, because the system identifies where they are at every moment of the day and automatically routes their communications to them via the appropriate vehicle – whether it’s their desk phone, laptop or wireless device.
Integrating robust IP telephony features from Microsoft Office® Communicator and Microsoft Office Communications Server helps users better collaborate by enabling them to:
- remain connected and available throughout the day, wherever they are
- participate in multiple teams and create impromptu conferences and meetings
- easily access the information they need
- seamlessly shift between different communications tools and vehicles

- IP Softphone and IP Agent integration with Microsoft desktop tools, including Microsoft Office Communicator, Microsoft Office Outlook® and Internet Explorer®
- Modular Messaging integration with Microsoft Exchange, Outlook and Internet Explorer for a variety of enhanced voice messaging solutions, including Unified Messaging
- Unified Communications Center integration with Exchange, enabling speech-driven access to email, voice services, voice messaging, contacts, calendar and other personal information management (PIM) capabilities
